While the majority of tablet PC users fall into the other categories on this page, the "other users" section has given us the opportunity to showcase some of the more unexpected uses of the tablet PC.  Here are some examples of how our customers are using their tablets:

Dom DiJulia is a golf professional in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  If you are interested in lowering your handicap from 10 to 5, he is the person to get you there.  He purchased an Motion Computing M1400 tablet PC to do two things: record video from his clients' swings and take handwritten notes that are sent to the customer after their lesson.  Being able to review both the video and the notes right at the tee lets him shorten the total lesson time.  This allows him to see more customers in a day as well as provides him a marketing edge.

PECO Energy Fire School trains firefighters how to be safe when working at gas and electrical emergencies.  They use the tablet PCs as electronic sign-in sheets for classes, do written evaluations during training and carry them to investigations.  The portability of the tablet PC allows them to have all their maps and data no matter their location.  They can load digital pictures and take handwritten notes that may have to be referred to in court.
