EMS

EMTs and paramedics are required to record patient information regarding medical history, current medications, allergies, and vital signs for an electronic medical record as well as sharing with the receiving facility and billing office. Using the Tablet Computer, medics use the pen to complete forms, handwrite subjective notes, and collect signatures on Patient Refusal and Privacy Notice documents. Having access to data from previous encounters with the same patient while at their bedside improves care and allows for more appropriate treatment.
